They were finally married but Sroam died just six months later! He was a watch and clock maker probably operating out of Bath, UK. This daguerreotype had been kept in a beautiful hand sewn blue velvet pouch made by Susie Mallett.   Photographer was Antoine Claudet of London, probably taken early half of 1850’s, now in the Fox Talbot Museum collection, Lacock.
